3 Quick Tips to Get Content for Your Blog

The best way to achieve a sought after website to have the site contain content rich information.  A site that has a variety of articles, commentaries and reviews will be popular with viewers and search engines alike. If you are not sure how to go about creating more content for your website. Here are some tips to help get you moving forward.

1.  Create content that is solution oriented in the area that you work in:

This can be specific niches or more general, like internet marketing or even further divided into sub-categories of online businesses such as SEO, traffic generation etc. and not necessarily to sell but to help viewers resolve the issues they may have and which they may be using Google to seek answers.  For example, if someone is contemplating buying a camera, they may Google this:  “Which is the best digital zoom camera?

Of course, that does not mean that your website cannot be monetized, just that in the information that you discuss, you do not want to be trying to sell people to buy from you.  You can still do that but in a subtle way by providing banners on the site, or have a soft sell on a product that may help the readers with their problem.  People are coming online to find solutions to their problems.  So provide articles, information and answers to these problems and you will win the respect, and trust of your readers. This is known as “pre-selling” and it is just as important as selling itself.

Think of this before you start writing on your blog, think of your reader and what questions they may be asking.

2. Write about what you know and share your knowledge with your readers.

If you have set up a website it means that you know something about your particular field, or have some special interest in it. Let’s say you are selling digital cameras, this is your opportunity to write some articles discussing the available cameras that are on the market. Or why not write an article explaining what people should look for when they buy a camera. Provide a survey on your website to seek the research that you want to talk about.  There are many people out there who don’t know where to begin when it comes to digital cameras.  So do a comparison of digital cameras and cameras from phones, or give ideas on what types of photography can be done with a digital camera.  People are seeking answers so you want to be able to provide them with the answers they need.  Ask people you know about their digital cameras and preferences and write about that.

3. Do research and turn dull reports into interesting articles.

Everyone can gain expertise by doing a bit of research on the web.  For example, in keeping with digital cameras, make a keyword search for “digital cameras” or whatever your field is, and you will find some web pages giving information. Often the information is just listed in a bulleted list format or there may be paragraph contents.  Read, read and read, then take this information, and integrate it with your own experience and style of writing to create new articles. You can always quote or cite the other articles (with hyperlinks) that you find on the web if they are particularly useful and gain trust and credibility to the original author. In fact this is the original idea behind Google’s system of PageRank: web pages that are particularly good will earn links or “votes” from other sites.

Where to Begin

Starting an online business can begin simply by blogging.  That’s right, you can begin blogging, writing 2 or more articles a day on your blog in relevant topic areas.  If you blog regularly, there will come a time when the blog brings visitors upon visitors to your site.  The next thing is, how can you monetize your blog so that when you get the visitors, they will be directed to visit your site that answers your visitors questions or will peak their interest.  Seek and you shall find.

I will share this, there is a system available that shows its members that blogging is the way to Financial Success.  If this might be of interest to you, I ask you to come take a look, right Here Now.
