Viral BloggingViral Blogging3 Tips To Make Your Blog Post Go Viral

When you use the various popular social media platforms like…

  • Facebook,
  •  Twitter,
  • Linkedin
  •  Pinterest
  • Google+

… you have the ability to put out content and increase the chance of your posts going viral. Using these various social media platforms, enables you to feed your latest content through different channels and reach a greater number of readers and prospects.

3 tips to help your posts go viral using social media.

#1 Make sure your blog is set up for social sharing.

If you have a blog, it is important to make it easy for your readers to share your contents with their friends.

  • Social media buttons give your readers the opportunity to share your content to others with one click.
  • Social sharing buttons are a must have for any blogger.
  • With social sharing, you can generate traffic and reach more visitors to your site with the help of your readers.

# 2 Join Fan Pages, Groups, Circles and Followers Related To Your Niche

Joining  groups and forums on the various social platforms is a good way to get traffic to your blog.

  • Create accounts with these major social media platforms Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Pinterest .
  • Complete your profile and add your picture so that people can become familiar with you, your site and how you can relate to them. Make sure that you include links to your blog and direct them to connect with you on your blog.
  • Search for pages, groups and followers that relate to your niche and your blog content. For instance, if you have a blog about health, join the fan pages and groups where the participants are interested in health.
  • Make a point to participate and comment on these sites so that the group will get to know you. Your comments should be helpful to others on the page. Do not use the group to promote your product. Use this as an opportunity to build relationships.
  • Share your posts and use links to your blog as a way to invite others to visit your blog. Remember, Social Media is about being social.

#3 Social Bookmarking

A social bookmarking site allows you to upload the URL from your various posts and then the bookmarking site distributes your post to a larger audience. Social bookmarking is one of the best ways to get traffic to your blog.

Pingler, Stumbleupon,  SocialPoster and SocialMarker are some of the best social bookmarking sites. They do not require an account and they are free. Simply put your post’s URL into the fields on the sites and they will submit your article to over 100 social bookmarking websites.
