Are you the kind of person that jumps at every opportunity or do you find excuses?
In my younger years, I was keen to have fun in any scenario. Sometimes now, it’s too windy, too rainy, too hot, too late in the day. Why do we do that? All of my best experiences, the stories I tell people, are a result of just getting out and doing something regardless of the conditions.
After all, how fun is it walking in the rain! Having the wind blow your hair until you look ridiculous! If you add a little bit of a challenge to a situation, it can be more fun, and much more rewarding at the end of the day.
Try and make a conscious decision for this next week to say YES! Every time the little voice in your head comes up with a silly excuse, say yes anyway….just see what happens.
Do not doubt yourself, you can make anything happen!
If you have been sitting on the fence, interested in making the change to a work from home job, interested in freeing yourself from long commutes, and interested in giving yourself the time to go out and play in the rain this is the opportunity to do it!
