Worldprofit Review

I decided to start a series of review articles on various products and services in the Business Opportunity and Online Marketing world.

Listen when I tell you: I will only review those I have personal experience with. I will never, for the sake of my credibility, write a review on something I do not have personal experience with.

One more thing before we start. I am NOT an affiliate with this company. If I ever do a review of a company I am associated with, I will of course do the right thing and let you know.

That said, let me first review a company which is a little controversial to some measure.

Worldprofit

worldprofitprofile_logo8Worldprofit is the brain-child of long time off-line marketer Dr. Jeffrey Lant. Dr. Lant has been in the marketing business for about four or five decades and has been very successful at it.

Dr. Lant has a bunch of books on marketing which are considered classics. I vouch they are classics. I am talking about offline marketing books here. He has some Internet marketing ebooks out here buy they are just really general in nature. Definitley not of the classic type.

In the mid 1990’s Mr. Lant made his way into the Internet Marketing arena and started Worldproft with the assistance of his business partner George Kosch.

Kosch is a former Canadian Military Captain and successful Internet Marketer in his own right. Together, along with their other partner Sandi Hunter, have built quite a successful company which seeks to help others succeed on the internet.

The Pros:

Worldprofit offers everything but the kitchen sink in their all-inclusive business training membership. You name it, they probably have it.

They have tons of software, websites, training, PLR, tracking software, products and services you can sell, and so much more.

George Kosch has many training videos on how to use everything in their arsenal. No stone is left unturned. He has a brand new training session every week which offers tips on how to succeed,

Worldprofit offer so much more than any other service I have ever seen.

The Cons:

Worldprofit offers so much more than any other service I have ever seen offered out there. So much so it can get overwhelming. And if I am being honest here, may of it you will probably never use.

Just remember to take everything step by step and FOCUS and you will be fine.

Worldprofit bases the majority of their marketing instruction on the use of Safelists and Traffic Exchanges.

If you do not like these methods or do not believe they will work for your business, you will not find any use for Worldprofit. Since that is like 95% or more of their marketing focus.

They teach you to market heavy on those platforms. They also give some instruction on solo ads, pay per click sites and list swaps, but Safelist’s and TE’s rule the day.

Their marketing to get Associates can get a little creepy. You see, whenever you are on their site checking them out, someone on video is following you.

They can’t see you of course but they can track you once you are signed in to their system. So, let’s say you opted in to their list; each time you log in, they will see that and call out your name!

All of a sudden you will hear, “Hey Mary!” or “Hey Tom!” When you look on screen you will see a current Worldprofit Associate, who volunteers to do this for the company, talking to you, strongly encouraging you to sign up as a Silver Member.

In theory, I guess it gives that personal touch however.  I hate saying this, but some folks do not need to be in front of a camera!

Some of them come across as creepy, unattractive and with a total lack of people skills, and that can put a lot of people off. I was personally able to see past that, but I don’t think most would. You have to see it to understand what I am saying and get the full effect.

Dr. Jeffrey Lant. The Man himself. The man is a marketing genius, at least in the offline world, But he, frankly is an ass!

He is very forward which isn’t the problem. It’s that he has zero patience, can be quite rude and will insult you at the drop of a dime. He’s the typical Grump Old Man.

George and Sandi are very nice folks but Mr. Lant is something else entirely.

The cost:

Worldprofit is not bad at $99 per month for a Silver Membership and $149 per month for a Platinum Membership., considering all you get. Personally I don’t think the extra $50/month is worth the Platinum upgrade, but that is just a personal choice.

The extra cost associated with buying traffic through them, setting up additional websites and other products and services, I think are a bit overpriced for the results you get.

There is too much in the members area to go over all this but trust me, I will not lie to you. 🙂

Bottom Line:

So, the bottom line is this:

  1. If you are a big believer in Safelists and Traffic Exchanges
  2. If you intend to use Worldprofit strictly as an arsenal of tools to build whatever business(es) you are in. (Because their affiliate program is one of the worst I have ever seen).
  3. If you are looking for something all-inclusive with instruction at the basic level……

Then Worldprofit is for you.

That said, personally, and I find it hard to say because overall I think they are a very unique company with lots top offer, I would stray away from them.

My experience has shown you will not get back what you put in as far as time and money spent. That is the biggest thing for me,

The Safelist’s and Traffic Exchanges are absolutely saturated with their ads and as I said before, other Safelist and TE Marketers are very familiar with the creepiness of their video marketing.

If I had to give them a letter grade I would give them a solid C+.

There are other Internet Marketing training products and services which offer a little less, but their stuff is more usable, so you will feel you are getting more of your money’s worth, AND they teach many other business marketing strategies than just Safelist’s and Traffic Exchanges.

If you’d like to know about the one I use, contact me and we can talk about it.

Stay tuned for more honest, blunt and accurate reviews.
