Email Marketing 101
The most effective way to make a great relationship with your audience is using the Email marketing. Without good relationship with your audience, you won’t get their trust and become an icon to them, which leads to not getting commissions from sales.
Know Your Audience
In order to make a good relationship with your audience, you need to study them to make it easy to have a good relationship with them. With knowing your audience, you may be able to provide the products and services that they may need most and with prices they can afford, which more likely gets you more sales.
Understand the Point of Your List
You need to identify the point of your list whether it is to sell a particular product or to inform them about how they can benefit from your services. The best way to do that is to segment your audience to more than one list. For example, you may put prospects in a different list than the buyers as each have different points to concentrate on.
Build Your List
The best way to build your list is to provide the audience who enter your website a gift once they opt-in. The gift could be a report, audio, video…etc. This is a great way to enthusiast the audience to become your subscribers. Of course, your free gift should be within your niche and provides good information that your subscribers will benefit from. This also increases your subscribers trust to you.
Send Your List Members Regular Information
Once you get subscribers to your list, it is vital to provide them free great content on regular basis, which will make the subscribers benefit from. If you don’t send your list in a regular basis your list may forget about you and think your Emails could be spams.
Furthermore, make sure that what you send to your subscribers is useful whether it is to refer them to a great content on your blog/website or recommending products that will be useful to them.
Check Your Metrics
You need to check the statistics of your auto responder. This includes the open rates, click rates and conversion rates of every email sent. If you sent emails that refer to your blog, check if it has worked. While if its for a product recommendation, you may check the conversion rates.
Repeat
Keep doing the same process and tweak when you find that something doesn’t work. The statistics help you identify the weaknesses and thus you may work on them promptly. A/B testing is a great tool to see what works better in terms of opt-in rates. You may provide two different samples of your website and check which converts better. This highly increases your opt-in rates.
You need to keep building your list regularly to get more and more commissions. By keeping to build your list and testing you will be more successful on getting your list’s trust and increase your income. While your building your list, you’ll see with the results how powerful building your list could be and be more happy about the results you got.
