Internet Entrepreneurship Survival Guide

So who am I and what got me here to this point of success? Well, my entrepreneurial drive started when I was a little kid and set up my first lemondade stand. I loved the idea of increasing my earning potential. I then thought I was doing pretty well with a lemondade stand but what made even more sense was a paper route with recurring money coming in and so began my career as a paper boy. Riding my bike, pedaling away from ferocious dogs and collecting my money envelopes, I was in heaven. My introduction to network marketing I never stopped learning about business and during grad school I was working at an internship when another employee handed me a magazine and said I may be interested in it. I took the magazine to lunch and practically choked on my turkey sandwich as I saw an incredible buisness opportunity. I ran back to the office and said, "Where do I sign up?" You see, I was a network marketers dream prospect. The idea of residual income made so much sense to me, it was a no brainer. I was going to crush this business That night, I had a call with my sponsors and I was pumped beyond belief. I started doing everything I was told: Wrote out my reason "why" (come on, I was a broke college kid, coming up with my "why" was simple) Made my list of everyone I knew. Ordered some slick business cards. Ordered marketing fliers, magazines and even clothes And I started hitting it hard..... And then............................ I fell flat on my face About the time I was actually losing money in my business, my sponsors called me up with incredible news. They were moving to a new company and if I joined them we would be at the top near the founders. So I jumped in with both feet. And guess what............. I fell flat on my face And then guess what........... My sponsors QUIT Talk about a wake up call. When my sponsors quit I had a big fork in the road. Should I quit too? Does this really work anyway? Is it just for a few people at the top? The more I read the more I learned that there was so much more to this business and my sponsors were just as new as I was and they didn't know how to properly coach me. Well, I joined another company (are you counting all these companies??) and then that company decided to do away with the direct sales portion of their business. Finally, I found a home, dug my heels in and .... Sweet SUCESS!!! Oh, but wait. I left something out. During that long road of failing, I was not failing in personal development. I was immersed in educating myself on the industry, in online and offline marketing, in lead generation and soooo much more. So when I found my home, I was able to fly out of the starting gate. But most people never saw all the struggle I went through to get there. But that is where you benefit my friend. I have been there. Frustrated, miserable, losing money, angry and tired. Wondering if this damn thing works anyway. Well, let me tell you it does work and I will light the way for you. Do not reinvent the wheel and hit all the stumbling blocks I did. I'll show you the path of least resistance. I'll show you how leads pour in daily to my email account and people actually ask to work with me. And, I turn many people away. It is not a dream land it can be your reality. So, dust off that frustration and let's get rolling. We are about to crush average and live dreams. ~Matt
