Not all Traffic is Treated Equally
Most website owners make the assumption that more traffic and more tools they buy equals more sales. Although that might be accurate in certain isolated examples, it’s not actually correct for most scenarios. It’s more often the “quality” of the traffic that a website will get that will directly effect the rate from which the traffic converts from web visits to actual sales.
Any website owner who has used the time to examine web logs and conversions will tell you that all website traffic isn’t the same. It’s a misconception to believe that any web traffic is good traffic, in fact it is total bull poop to believe that the more visitors that come, the more will purchase. The most efficient website traffic is qualified, and the best web traffic not only has an already-existing desire for your product or service, but is usually searching for a solution and is prepared to buy.
In an effort to properly comprehend a sales pattern, we have to take a close up look at a website’s design and style, and have an understanding of the worth of a website and its particular influence and impact on profits. A “sales funnel” refers back to the notion that the large majority of visitors only have a general interest in the types of materials presented; the more time a visitor remains on the website or will take the desired actions, the deeper into the “sales funnel” they’ll go, along with the probability they’ll eventually buy something will increase. The objective should be to move prospective customers further into the sales funnel.
For instance, a website visitor expresses a primary interest in a topic or product. The website visitor researches solutions or information that covers their subject of interest. In order to keep up with the website visitor’s interest, you have to supply info on the content or product they’re looking for. In addition, the web site should instil confidence within the visitor that the solution you are offering will fulfill their need and solve their issue. The last phase of the sales funnel will involve closing the sale. Close the sale by encouraging customers and by telling them what actions they need to take.
