Okay, I want to choose your domain name using Godaddy, but are there things I should Avoid? Some things you should avoid . 1. Words that are hard to spell. You don’t want people getting frustrated because they can’t spell a word and just say forget about it. 2. Words that have different spellings like two, to, too, or for, four, or sale and sell. You should never use numbers, too. You don’t want to miss a prospect because you domain was typed in wrong.
You know you got a good domain name when you can say it over the phone and someone can remember it. Another good point is to keep it 4 words or less. You never want to go over 5 if you can help it, but sometimes if the name flows really well it should be okay. Also you don’t want your domain name to be real long either.
