What is a simple system I can make money online with?

That is a very good question and I am glad you asked it.

It all depends on what your Idea of what Simple is!

Now there are many “Systems” promoted as “Join up, click a button once a day and watch the money roll in”… Do they work?  Of course they do! But only for the person who owns the system. It’s very very rare that you, as a member of such a program, will ever see a single cent.

So let’s take a look at some Real Systems.

Now if you’re just starting out, it’s highly unlikely that you will have anything that you could sell… You might have some items at home you want to get rid of and something like Ebay is a good place for doing that. Quite a few folks earn money doing that…

But let’s say you’ve just found out that it is possible to make money online and by the powers that be, you’ve ended up here reading this post!

And there’s a clue for you… Having a website, where you can talk about whatever subject you desire and having others searching for that same subject can find your site and start reading… And if you have  got a few things in place allowing you to stay in contact with your website visitors, well that’s where things start to happen.

I’m sure you’ve probably done it many times yourself… You’ve been looking up something on say Google, or any of the other Search Engines that abound ( Google is my personal favourite ), and ended up on a website providing you with , hopefully, the information you were looking for.

How many of those sites offered you a way to get more information? You probably saw a Form on the site, offering something that interested you, like a Free Ebook Report or a Video or a Newsletter, with the intention of providing you with even more information.

What they are doing is “capturing” your email details, where they can  (with your permission ) send you follow up emails with the promised extra information and offers they think will help you etc… To put it in much “nicer” terms… You are joining their “List”. You may have heard about the importance of List Building.

Now put the shoe on the other foot.

So you now have a website where you can offer your great information to help educate someone on the subject you are discussing. You can have the system where you can capture your website visitors details so you can provide them with more information and build up a relationship with them… You can also start offering them “recommendations” of  Related products or services to assist them in achieving their Goals.

Once you start getting folks to deliberately give you their contact details allowing you to “continue the conversation” as I like to call it, you are creating an audience of folks wanting to hear more about what you have to say. And don’t let that frighten you…

A Little Confession and some tips

Writing to my list used to scare me to death! I’d get “sign ups” to my lists and get excited about the fact they took the time to join my list and then… “What do I say to them…?” I coined the phrase ( for myself ) of suffering from “List Fright”.  Building a List is relatively simple, you’ve got to have a clear picture of what you want to provide and how you want to deliver it before you begin or in the very very early stages… “List Fright” simply stems from not knowing what you want to talk about! And that stems from – in my case – of not wanting to be like all the others just shooting out emails of  “Join this and Join that…”. Basically everytime I went to read their emails, they expected me to have my credit card out of my wallet ready to buy!!!

It wasn’t the case back then, and it isn’t the case now, the way I would ever operate. But with some guidance from my other marketing buddies and some coaching and getting my head in the right place… that’s all changed.

And you might be thinking it’s the same case when it comes to writing content ( information ) on your website. “Blogging Fright”. The One Important tip I can give you is this… Be Yourself and Don’t ever try to be like someone else. Sounds strange But I know that if I try to go into “Moronic Marketing I want to Super Hype you to death so you’ll buy what I’m recommending…” I start to write like a robotic moron.

Just like what I am doing right now 🙂 Well no, seriously, I simply enjoy writing. And if it is a problem try this… Just open up a Text or Word or Openoffice document and start writing about something… It may not be a masterpiece – At First… But it will be and it’s the actual Doing, that makes a world of difference.

You can start finding out information on the internet about your topic and create something a little easier to understand. One of the things I’ve found is that there is a whole lot of information available AND that it’s totally disjointed… Meaning you have to go look here for some information, then you have to go somewhere else to find out more on the first bit you found etc… Basically it can feel like a “treasure hunt” while all the time I’m screaming on the inside “Just tell me it all NOW… PLEASE!!!”

So if you can Correlate all of that information into a Single Location, you’ve got some pretty powerful content, making your site a standout. AND making your readers very happy (smiling on the inside as they are reading )  and much more likely to take action and Join Your List!

As you might be able to tell, I’m actually writing this on the fly. And hopefully I’ve got my thoughts in order so this all makes some sense! But I will read back over this and check that it “reads” ok. AND ( starting with AND would be giving my High School English teacher a major heart attack ) my grammar “probably is not terribly brilliant and correct” … Don’t stress on these things too much!

Oh and it’s a very good idea to let others that you know have a read over what you’ve written… I’ve been staring at this for sometime and there’s probably a bunch of Blatant eyebrow raisers , where you think – that bit didn’t make sense, or

Your main aim is and always must be… “Helping People”.  Help them solve a problem and your website / blog should concentrate on doing just that. So if you are stuck as to what area , market, niche you are looking at entering… Keep that thought foremost in your mind at all times.
