It is hard to find keys to improving your leadership, but the position comes with respect of those underneath you when you do it right. Every person needs to build different skills, so only you can really decide what leadership traits you need to master.
Honesty is key to being a leader. Leaders should always want to bring people in better directions. Your followers will recognize honesty and will appreciate it.

You should schedule some time every day to examine and evaluate the mood and environment at work. You could invite a few members of your team to join you in during these sessions. They can make suggestions and you can be brainstormed.
Listening to your employees is more important skill than talking. Being a great leader requires you to listen to what others have to say. Listen to the things your employees need to say. Learn from each of your employees what they have to say about buyers and products. You might be a little surprised about what you can learn from those who work for you.
The art of leadership involves motivating others, while keeping your own values intact. By using what you’ve learned here, you’re going to notice that you’re making more of a difference. Stay humble and try to learn more to lead people.
