Affiliate Marketing Formula Number 1
Content creation
Now you’ve probably heard the saying that content is king right? Well this is absolutely the truth. If you’ve been taught that you can make good money online without creating quality content you’ve been lied too. Sure, you can make m
oney without a blog filled with great content, however, it will only be pocket money. Typically this kind of money making is shot lived because the programs themselves have a short life span.
Blogs filled with quality content, however, is what every “really successful” affiliate marketer is doing in order to create a life long sustainable income. You see, owning your own blog is like owning a piece of Internet real estate. Now we all know that real estate tends to increase in value as time goes by, well it’s the same with Internet real estate (your blog). As time moves along your blog will increase in value; value to you; value to Google, and value to your readers.
Problem is though, creating your own blog can be somewhat of a daunting prospect for many people, especially newbies to the affiliate marketing industry. Creating your own blog from scratch does require a rather steep learning curve, I should know because I created 4 blogs over the last several years. I can tell you my early blogs were not very good. The problem with creating your own blog from scratch is that you lose money while trying to learn all the technical stuff, and that’s not good. A good place to start would be to share it on Face Book, Face Book Groups (in the affiliate marketing niche), share it on Google+ and Google+ groups, and of course don’t forget to Tweet your content.

Advertising
When it comes to advertising there is no such thing as “free advertising.” Advertising is either going to cost you some money or your time. Some people, when starting out, don’t have an advertising budget so they put in some time and effort on their computers to get word out about their content. This method works well but is not usually as fast as paid advertising.
Paid advertising has the advantage of being a lot quicker for producing money, however, you must be careful what advertising services you use. Thousands of dollars can be lost overnight if you don’t know what you’re doing, or who you’re using. Analyzing and adjusting
As time goes by with your advertising and content creation you’re going to need to carefully consider what is working and what is not. For example, you might find that a particular advertising service just ain’t working, you’ll know this by analyzing your results through your “ad tacking software” in your npn back office. That which is not working you get rid of and simply plug in another and then rinse and repeat.
Internet marketing will always require constant “testing and tweaking,” this in just the nature of the beast. Sure there is a little learning curve to navigate, but if you’re prepared to put in a little effort you’ll be up and running in no time.
