1. This is Your Business
The success of your business depends on you. Your financial success depends on you. If you work your business, you will succeed at it and achieve your financial goals.
It means you need to take responsibility to learn how to run your business.
Your mentor wants to help you but s/he can not force you to learn or to work. That must come from you.
You must have your business and financial goals before you, to help you stay motivated.
2. Think Long-Term
A business owner starts a business with long-term goals. S/he knows it takes 2 – 5 years to establish the business. Your BMT business is a long-term opportunity.
Everyone wants money in their first week and there are hundreds of schemes out there that last 6 months and pay people in their first week and for 6 months until they go bang.
2 – 5 years is nothing. Think how fast time flies. Think how the last 5 years have flown by. If you are prepared to work consistently for the next 2 – 5 years, you can have an exciting future with excellent passive income that comes in every month.
Sure you can earn a few hundred dollars in 6 – 12 months. But let your focus be long-term.
3. Sow now, Reap later
A business owner understands the law of the farm. Only if you reap will you sow.
If he does not sow, he will not reap.
He knows that he will have to work long and hard hours in the beginning to reap the rewards later. But he does it because the rewards are worth it.
He makes some sacrifices now. He works when he would rather be relaxing. He works even when he gets tired
He invests in his business. Time, effort and money. He spends money on his business instead of on entertainment or luxuries. Because he knows the investment is worth it.
He looks at what passive income can do for him. He sees the future freedom and it spurs him on to keep sowing. Knowing that he will reap the harvest in the future.
He looks at his goals and and gets excited about the future.
Yes, he gets tired and takes a break, but he is back working again ASAP.
