Are you familiar with the Google Adsense Program?
Basically, if you have a blog, you can place Ads by Google on your site and every time that someone clicks one of those ads, the advertiser pays Google a fee (Pay Per Click) and Google shares a percentage of that revenue with you for placing the ads on your site.
Bloggers have been making money this way for years…
For example, here is a screenshot of Chris Record earning between $300 and $1000 per day from Google Adsense in 2005 by simply placing these high converting ads on his websites…
But then…
It became harder and harder to make this kind of money, because more people were becoming familiar with ads, and weren’t clicking on them as often, which meant you had to work 10x as hard to make good money.
So internet marketers started focusing on Building A List…
When you build a HUGE list of email subscribers who have opted-in to receive more information from you, this allows you to make money regardless of whether or not Google changes their algorithms, or whether or not people click on the Adsense Ads.
The bottom line is that when you build a BIG list, you can last through all the major market changes and come out unscathed!
