Another day, another dollar…..

Another day, another dollar. Where did that saying come from ? Does anyone out there know ? Wouldn’t it be nice to say another day, another thousand dollars ? Some people might argue that the almighty dollar does not a happy person make….but let’s face it….everyone would love to be able to afford the finer things in life. I know I would ! Of course money is not the be-all and end-all of everything but every little bit helps… right ? But how do you go about earning that little bit extra to go towards a new car or a holiday when you are already stretched to the limit when it comes to free time ? There is no right answer here. Everyone’s life is different….everyone has their own responsibilities and time constraints. It’s up to each individual to decide how much you really want to earn more money and how much time you are prepared to spend on it.  Sometimes you just need to leave your comfort zone. I already did it once, by leaving a job of 20 years and relocating to a new town where I only knew a handful of people. I started up my own giftware and accessories business even though I had no retail experience at all ! I love my little business but the economy is not always your friend so sometimes you need to look further afield.  There’s no easy solution but sometimes you just have to have a little faith and trust that the universe will provide for you. I have always believed that things happen for a reason and the people that cross your path are there for a purpose. Some stay with you forever and some move on when the time is right. I recently joined a group called The Better Women’s Network who are teaching women how to earn money online. The awesome thing about this group is that it is made up of women just like me who want more out of life. What better way to learn the ropes than with a group of supportive women who you can connect with and share inspiration ? I’m prepared to give it a go. Hello ! My name is Vicki and I live in one of the best places on earth ! About 2 years ago I decided that my life needed a huge overhaul. After working in the same job for 20 odd years and sick and tired of doing the same old 9 to 5 dance, I made the decision to chuck it all in for a better life. I started an online giftware business, sold up and moved to the far north coast of NSW. Being single, it was a pretty brave move but at this stage of my life I just wanted more time for me !
