Are you ready for the goal setting challenge?

Visualise your life in 10 years time. What would you dare to do if you could  not fail? Describe your ideal life. Who is there and how do you spend your time? These are just a few things you can consider when setting your goals.

The thought of setting goals usually sends me into a slight conniption. I find it real difficult to set big goals as I am very content where I am in life. My husband on the other hand loves to set goals. Every year I have to sit down (a compulsory part of my marriage) and fill in this goal setting form (feel free to use this if it helps). We then analize against each other and get a plan for the year. Sigh, Yawn, zzz.

Now that is out in the open I need to get busy. Better Womens Network sets 15 minutes goals each day to help women succeed in online marketing. Don’t forget to check back for the outcome of tomorrows lesson where we will develop this goal setting exercise and look at the reasons why those goals are important.

15-Minutes

I am new to the marketing world. My background is as a Naturopath and a Nutritionalist but I am fascinated by marketing. It is something I NEED to use to run any of my successful businesses. When I found this opportunity to work with Better Womens Network and tap into the wonderful generous women who also work at BWN I was stoaked and did not hesitate. So far I have definitely not been disappointed. There is more than enough information to keep me working 24/7 on my marketing skills. Energise, Nourish and Achieve. These are three things I constantly strive for. I am passionate about health, movement and living life fully (this third aspect is sometimes compromised by running a household of 3 young children and a teenage husband) but I try.

You might be there with me.:)

  • Setting goals is important… but most importantly we need to set achievable steps to reach them…. I found yours very interesting…. especially the one that said “stay married” …. mmmm… I found that pretty hard…. we are 39 years married now… our Ruby next year….. up and down….. but would not swap it for the world!

My goal is to reach 6a2 in Enagic by the end of this year…. this means I need two people to reach 6a = 100 sales… then I get shares in company profit…. semi retirement and travel thereafter….

I pray you will achieve yours Kristie….

     Best wishes

    Peter

Thank you Peter. Marriage is a goal I have to work at every day. Hats off to you for 39 years, I have been 15 years now. Wow 100 sales is impressive with Enagic. It looks like a great product. You might even get 100 more this year.

Awesome Luba we are a mission to succeed together. 🙂

  • Hi Kristie,

I know that setting goals is important and I set daily goals of the tasks that I need to accomplish to get me to where I want to be.  Now doing yearly, 10 years, etc. is much harder for me because I don’t know where I want to be by then.  My life has changed drastically numerous times in the past so I guess you could say I prefer just living in the present moment and taking one day at a time.

I love the goals you set out though, great examples for the rest of us.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
