Why people do not want to pay to work from home.

Why are people so interested in my work from home business until they find out it costs money to start up?  This is a question I have come up against from myself a bit recently. I personally cannot get my head around this as I have started, and run, a business off line already so I know it takes hard work to start a business and it ALWAYS costs money to start a business. th-3

With this thought driving me a little bananas I got to chatting to some peeps online about this hurdle and finally I got an email from one smart gentleman who gave me some great feedback. Here is what he (Abdul) had to say about the matter:

 

“People normally get involved in the home business industry with the mindset of an employee, meaning they think they don’t need to invest money into THEIR BUSINESS, They don’t need to invest time in their BUSINESS & also because they have no idea what they are doing.

 

Most people fail because they are used to their instant cash with crappy work mindset working for a Boss….remember why you are even looking at getting involved in the online marketing arena, so you can out of that J.O.B and have more FREEDOM and of course tell your Boss to shove it.

 

Start treating it like a business and watch how things start to change for you…

 

Here are a number of things you can do to start generating more leads and getting more signups into what ever business you are in if you are in one.

 

1 – It’s all about traffic, learn how to get more eyeballs on your offer and watch the leads pour in, the more people who visit your page the more opt-ins and more signups / conversions you will get it’s just common sense.

 

2 – You have to get leads so look at point one.

 

That’s all you need to automate the entire process.”

 

From his wise words I felt more at peace. If people invest their precious money then usually they are the ones who are willing to work hard to make a return for their money and these are the people I am looking for on my team.

  • It is true people are often reluctant to invest in starting a home business – another thing they fail to realize is the investment of time.  If they are willing to work for someone else for 8 hours a day – why are they not willing to work for themselves?

  • Well said, Kristie! It’s sad, but it’s the truth. Some people just want the 9 to 5 jobs, and real responsibility past that time. To own a business is synonymous of hard work at least until it gets up to speed. Then, it’s a question of maintaining it up there.
