Roll with destiny or create your own dream?
With January half gone it’s time for a reality check. You possibly made some New Year’s resolutions – how are they going? Did you do well for a few days and then slip back into the old, familiar routine? Maybe you are on track and making an effort to steer life in the direction YOU want to take it?
“If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else.”
I like this quote by Yoggi Berra. It sums up a lot for me. This quote is my reality – is my life just going with the flow, meandering from one event to the next or whether I am taking charge and actively steering things in the direction my family and I want to go? I wonder how you are going?
Life keeps moving on regardless of what we do BUT we have the opportunity to create our own path of dreams rather than just roll with destiny and meander with whatever comes our way.
What will it be for you? For me this year IS going to be different. I am consciously trying to steer my thoughts and actions to move me and my family forward in the direction we need to go, financially and personally. How are you going?
The questions to ask
I’ve asked myself:
- how can I make this the BEST year yet?
- What are goals for the year?
- How can I improve myself this year?
- What am I going to do this help make this the best year yet for my family and my business?
Take time to think about these – write down your goals and pin them up somewhere where you can be reminded everyday.
Take charge and be the best you can be!
