Stay out of prison, please.

Stay out of prison, please.

I know that got your attention. Right now you are probably wondering what i am talking about.

I am NOT talking physical prison. I think rhat’s easy enough. You do your time and you get out. Unless you are there for life.

Stay out of prison, please.

What i am talking about is a prison much harder than physical.

It is a mental prison that i am talking about. Most of us put ourselves there for life and forever, without wven realizing that we do.

We imprison ourselves mentally at times by the things we say and do. But mostly by the things we say…to ourselves.

Stay out of prison, please.

How often have you caught yourself saying something like…”I can’t”, “It’s impossible”. “It’s too hard”. “I’m finished”.

The list goes on. We fail to realize that when say these things to ourselves, we essentially sentenxe ourselves to failure. We condemn ourselves with our own mouths.

Stay out of prison, please.

It is not all hopeless, however. We can begin to rwprogram ourselves by being morw conscious and aware of the words we use, how we use them, how we apply them. We can become kinder to ourselves.

Use “I can”. I am going to do this”. “With a little effort, i can do this”. “Nothing is gonna get in my way of getting this done”

One thing to remember. We are always in control of our attitude and how we treat ourselves. We do not have to put our minds in bondage. We can free ourselves from whatever mental obstacle that we might face. Our mind was not meant to be iprisoned.

A free tool to help free your mind from bondage. Live the life God meant for you.

Always willing to share what little I know. As it says in the Bible..."Those who have ears, hear; those who have eyes, see. You have come to the right place to learn something new and fresh. If your journey is to learn new ways to generate income, you have found it. So, I welcome you with open heart and arms. Semper Fidelis!

  • Hello, Chintua, great post and sadly a topic that not enough people take notice of, being comfortable is a dangerous place to be and often leads to the development of the enslaving phraseology that you identified.

Each day we have the option whether or not to stretch ourselves and the only person holding us back is the one in the mirror.

    • Hey, thanks Igor Griffiths, for your kind words. That blog post was as much about me as anybody else who would claim it. Thanks again for your kind input.
