This morning I was sitting in a puddle of my sweat in the sauna listening to Tony Robbins thinking about why people like to make things way more complicated then they need to be.
Over the past few years I’ve had the opportunity to talk with many people from different cultures and countries. What I’ve discovered is for the most part, we all want the same things…
- the security of a good shelter, a healthy and abundant food supply and quality water.
- our family to be happy, healthy, and thriving in their own pursuits
- work that makes us happy and like we are contributing
- fresh air and safety
- and enough money that we do not have to be stressed out about being able to take care of ourselves or our families
For many of us, if we addressed the last, having enough money that we did not have to be stressed out about being able to take care of ourselves or out families, the rest of the list would be taken care of.
We work so hard at our jobs…that we don’t see opportunity right in front of us.
Many times it’s because we’ve been told “if something looks too good to be true, it probably is” or we’ve tried something new and FAILED…and we sure can’t learn and move on can we????

Right on this page is a door that leads to opportunity for you and your family.
But most of you won’t see it that way. You’re too cynical.
Is it really easier to work for years on end starting over each week at zero and having to earn a check?
I think we are kidding ourselves.
If you are earning a median weekly paycheck, which according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of October 2014, in the USA …
you are earning about $19.75 an hour or $41,080.00 a year.
That may sound okay to you if you are earning less than that or getting by on that . I say Getting By because it’s certainly not enough to have a life where you get a lot of extras.
When you look at the Residual income option, there is no comparison. Look at some numbers with me below.
On a really basic affiliate/residual compensation plan, where you sell something that’s on a subscription plan and get paid the commission again each month, you don’t start over each month at zero, you get to grow your income each month. Let’s compare with a specific example from the affiliate/residual plan I sell to earn recurring $100 commissions.
Using the median monthly USA income as of Oct 2014, $3,423.33, ( yearly divided by 12 months)….
If you were selling something that generated $100 for you each time you sold it and you needed to reach your 3423.33 a month income, you would need to sell 35 and do it every single month. Car sales is a good example of this. You start at zero each month.
But, if you were earning $100 commissions and didn’t have to start over each month, even if it took you six month or even a year to reach 35 sales, you would then just have to keep your customers happy, so they stuck around, and you’d be earning 42,000 less $1764.00 you’d have to pay to become a reseller ($147 a month).
And you would have way more free time. You’d have location freedom so you could work from anywhere in the world practically, and if you wanted more income, you could get to work and sell more.
Which one sounds better to you?
The second option saves you way more than you spend on the monthly affiliate fee that allows you to sell the product and earn a commission.
Think about your work related expenses
- child care (way expensive)
- work clothes
- commute expenses (gas, wear and tear on the car, public transportation expenses)
- lunches out
and how much you would gain
- more time with your family, even if you just counted the commuting time
- less stress
- working in a comfortable environment (not too cold or hot)
- 10 second commute to your home office
- flexible work schedule
