It seems to me that my subject lines lately have been crappy.
Not enough juice in ’em.
Just a little too vanilla to spark excitement.
I’ve been happy with the emails themselves.
But I’ve been looking over my subject lines (headlines) and I feel that they could stand some improvement.
So that’s what I’m gonna do.
I’ll concentrate on writing better headlines.
Then openers.
And where the heck are the bullets? I haven’t used a single bullet in far too long. You see, there are elements that can make an email stand out. Make ’em interesting. And while I enjoy writing stuff, the enjoyment drops off a cliff if nobody else likes what I do.
Then it’s just another piece of content (garbage) floating around in the sea of Internet.
Not good.
I write every day because it makes me a better writer. It’s practice. Just like everything else, if you do more of it, you’ll get better at it.

Are you writing, shooting video or recording audio every day?
Whatever it is you do, you ought to do it every day.
You’ll get better and better at it.
