There’s no doubt about it, I’ve been known as the ’Queen of Bling’!
I remember being invited to a Jewellery party many years ago. I had never been to one before so had no idea what to expect. I remember being in awe of the amount of sparkling jewels laid out on a pristine white tablecloth and seeing a well dressed lady with no less than five sparkling rings on her fingers and elegantly matching necklace and earrings, a watch and a bracelet. A gold coloured name badge adorned her smart black jacket and the woman just oozed confidence.
Having Fun!
There is nothing more fun than getting together with other women, having a couple of champagnes or even just coffee and cake while trying on exquisite jewellery, complimenting each other on how much an outfit was improved with a little bit of dressing up.
Well, I was hooked. Of course I booked a show of my own so that I could be entitled to a stunning hostess gift (which I still own and it’s still sparkling 7 years later!) and also half price jewellery AND Free jewellery if enough was sold at my show! I was given some wonderful hostess coaching so that I knew what to say to my prospective guests. When the day of my show arrived, I was well prepared and boy, did I score some fantastic bargains! I earned several half price pieces and about $100 worth of Free jewellery just by having a few girls over for some drinks and nibbles!
Getting Into Business
After several shows either hosted by my friends or myself, the Jewellery lady spoke to me about the business, asking if I’d like the opportunity to give away jewellery like her AND get all of my own at wholesale price. I really didn’t have to think twice as I loved the genuine Swarovski Crystal and precious Gem jewellery along with the AAA grade Cubic Zirconia that shone as brightly as the best quality diamonds I’d seen in jewellery stores!
So, I became a Fifth Avenue Collection Jeweller. I bought my own showcase in 4 affordable instalments – which, after the initial instalment, never came out of my own pocket anyway as I took my showcase into the homes of some amazing hostesses, who I coached as I had been so that the sales from each show paid off my showcase!
It’s All Mine!
I love shopping for new jewellery to add to my showcase every month – I get all of the money for the jewellery I sell and then simply restock what I’ve sold and pocket the profit! No deliveries, no waiting for ‘commission cheques’. Just simple sell off the table and replace. Of course there is a little bit you must put back into your business for your packaging and gifts, but it is well worth investing in this business if you love to have Fun And Cash – FAC – Fifth Avenue Collection!
