How NOT to “Screw Up” in the World of Affiliate Marketing Programs

What could be easier?

I joined this thing called Clickbank and started spewing affiliate links anywhere and everywhere.

Before you know it, my Facebook account was banned, my Google Adwords account was closed…and even my Yahoo email account was blocked.

Nothing wrong with Clickbank…they’re fine. It was me.

I was doing everything wrong.

  • Tried to use Yahoo email like an autoresponder service
  • Posted the wrong type of ads on Google
  • And, added my affiliate links to too many updates over at Facebook

What a disaster. I had a lot to learn.

Well…that was about 7 or 8 years ago, and times have changed. I’ve since learned the best way to make money with affiliate marketing programs is to “up your game” with professional tools and proven strategies by…

  • Using an autoresponder service
  • Posting articles to a blog
  • Helping others on social media
  • Sharing products and opportunities that add value
  • Learning from the leaders in my niche

Suddenly, the world was a happier place.

I started making money, and four years ago packed a box of personal belongings, tucked it under my arm, and walked out the front door of my last job.
