Ain’t No Doubt About It

Moving sucks.

I don’t know how many times I’ve moved in my life.

Maybe it’s an average number.  Maybe it’s more.

I don’t even care.

All I know is that I’d rather own very little stuff and be able to move around all the time.

I’m comfortable with constantly moving around.

The last time I moved was about a year ago.

In fact, that’s when I met the Thug.

She was living in less than optimal conditions and we had to ‘rescue’ her from the predicament.

The only bummer was that we had to get a new place with a bit more room to make everything work out.

That and the whole box things up and drag it all across town thing.

Good news for me was that I got to attend a marketing event in Las Vegas while Rockit handled the whole thing by herself.

She really is a trooper.

I’m out hanging with a bunch of cool marketers while Rockit packed everything up and hired the movers.

At least we didn’t have a whole lot of stuff.

Rockit’s likes to live light like I do.

That was the last time we moved, but another one is just around the corner.

I can’t wait for this one though.

This one’s gonna be like the Jeffersons.

Movin on up.

Moving all your marketing isn’t as bad as a physical move, but it’s still not the most fun you’ll ever have.

Lots of file transfers, etc.

But ya know what I found out?

It’s worth it.

Even through all the hassle.

Stuff like that happens all the time when you’re a marketer.

Accounts get shut down, companies fail or maybe you just find something better.

In our case, it’s mostly the last one.

New alliances, plans and vision.

So we went ahead and pulled the plug.

We’re moving Rockit n Rebel and everything connected to new servers, etc.

And I wanted to let you know just in case the emails are a bit sporadic.

I’ll do my best to keep things hummin right along.

If anything goes a bit sideways, you’ll know what happened.
