Content Marketing.
Putting out loads of crap on the Internet in the hopes that someone will consume it and not get sick.
When I hear “piece of content”, I think “piece of sh**”.
You’re sharing a message.
A message that comes from your heart.
Something you believe in and you simply must share it because it’s good for those who want it.
It’s fun and it’s important.
You’re not creating a piece of content for your target audience to consume.
For crying out loud.
Would you just read that sentence again and think about how it makes you feel.
Makes ya kinda sick doesn’t it?
Wannabe marketers produce content.
Other even noobier wannabe marketers consume content.
They run it through the machinery of their feeble mind and it comes out the other end.
Which, truth be told, should be a toilet.
The noobier wannabe marketer then repurposes said content by reposting the rehashed crap onto their own social profiles, etc.
The process continues when a fresh batch of wannabe marketers repeat the entire charade.
Wanna be like all the other noobs out there?
Produce content for your target audience to consume.
Better yet, make it all free.
You’ll look, sound, act, and make the same amount of money ($0.00) as all the rest of them.
Heed my words.
Share your message.
Use written word, video or audio, it doesn’t really matter.
What matters is your conviction.
Your belief that what you’re saying is interesting and informative to the people who dig what you’ve got to say.
They’ll love your stuff and love you for sharing it.
Your peeps will not love content.
They can get that crap anywhere.
But not from you.
You’ve got fun and exciting stuff for them.
Give your followers something to love, and make a few bucks on the side.
Share all the good you have with everyone you can.
The world has enough content.
Give it something better.
