Someone asked me the other day what advise I could give to a new person just starting out who wanted to have an online business.
I suggested that they forget about selling and simple offer information.
“How To Info” is what people are looking for when they go to the internet. People don’t go to the internet with the intent on BUYING…. they are looking for information, so give it to them.
I have found the best combination for me is affiliate marketing (selling other people stuff). I need just a few of the basic tools that all marketers need.
I am in the tool business and I offer information about the tools people need to market online and I also offer information about products that other people have available. It is a perfect combination for me.
I learned the actual “how to” of affiliate marketing from the book by Rosalind Gardner, Super Affiliate Handbook. and I use the tools in NPN to be able to share the information.
I have an online business and I offer what others need. Isn’t that the BEST combination that you can think of?
