My Coffee Was Bulletproof…

…the blender wasn’t.

When I got up the other day and headed to the kitchen, I had no idea the situation that was about to unfold.

Everything went smoothly until  I attempted to blend my bulletproof coffee.

Anyhoo, I loaded the ol’ blender cup with the requisite amount of Brain Octane, grass-fed ghee and freshly brewed bulletproof coffee.

The trouble started when I attempted to mount the cup on the blender.

This particular blender is one of those where the blade assembly screws onto the top of a cup.

Then you flip it upside down to mount it on the motor.

When I flipped it over on the morning in question, coffee went spraying all over the counter.

Yikes.

After I cleaned up the mess, I had to mix it up the best I could in a shaker cup.

I suppose it mixed alright, but it just wasn’t the same.

Got the job done, but results could have been better.

But no sweat.

I headed down to the local Best Buy a few hours later and got me a shiny new Magic Bullet.

Least costly blender on the shelf (39 bucks!) and I know from experience it’ll blend up my morning mud just fine.

That’s just how life goes.

Things go sideways, and ya gotta handle it.
