I’ve been doing this over 15 years. If you’ve been doing it for 15 minutes, we all have the same challenge.
That is to find people who are interested in our products and persuade them to buy from us. That is the nature of doing business online.
It’s much harder than most people will admit, but it doesn’t have to be.
The secret to success in this area comes down to one word. That word is:
System
Do you have a cold traffic system?
Do you, right now, know how to find people who are interested in what you have to offer, you already know they’re interested, and then get them into a system by which automation can convert them into a raving fan?
If you don’t have that, it’s very important to focus on.
If you do, you will prosper. If you don’t, it will be a struggle. That’s just the nature of the business, until you have a system in place.

The way I see it is this,
You cannot expect these people to buy from you just by asking them to.
I mean why would they, I know I wouldn’t.
So you need to warm them first, and one of the best ways to do that is with content that helps them. even solves a challenge for them.
One of the best ways to do that is by using a blog.
You can then use the blog to help them in their online business, at no cost or obligation to them.
This means that if you ask them, they are more likely to give you their email address.
You can do that by offering (again free) a newsletter, or a download of further information to help them.
once you have their email address you are on track.
With the email address you can email them anytime you want.
With either more helpful content, or a product you have for sale.
How do you do that.
You use an autoresponder
The most important tool an online marketer has.
As marketers we use the autoresponder to gather, store, organise and send out our emails.
You can set up a sequence of emails to go out, or You can do a broadcast email.
And with your own list you will get sales.
One of the beautiful things about of having your own list is that you control it.
How do you build your list, there are many ways,
Advertising and sending those interested to a capture page to get the email address instead of sending them directly to your offer.
Solo adds are also a great way to build your list, again sent to a capture page first.
If you gain just 100 email addresses of people in your niche each week,
You will have a list of 5,200 within a year, more than enough to earn a good income from.
2 years and you have over 10,000.
Don’t you wish you had started to build your list years ago, I know i do.
So what you need are these tools.
A WordPress blog set up ready to place content .
An autoresponder to systematically store and send out your emails.
A method to build capture pages to capture the email addresses when advertising.
And a tracking mechanism for when you advertise so that you can know which adds are working.
Most people,
If they are wise enough to use this system,
Go to various companies and pay each one a monthly fee for the particular tool.
This could mean paying monthly fees to three or more different companies.
