Today we talk about how to drive and capitalize on the momentum in your Network Marketing business
To have success in network marketing it takes consistent action, and you must implement daily activities that will allow you to build the momentum you need to catapult your business to success. Many people think that success comes with minimal action.
Minimal action gets you nothing, but minimal results. Massive action will help you build the momentum you need to have massive success in your network marketing company.
What is Momentum in Network Marketing?
Momentum is when you repeatedly complete a certain set of actions for a consistent period of time that start to build results in a residual form. Meaning, an action you performed last month affects the outcome of your results today. Momentum is contingent on persistent action over a long period of time.
You can create momentum by developing habits that you stick to for at least 30 days or more. Often you will hear about 90 days or a 90 day challenge. In 90 days you can really move forward through applied and consistent action and make a huge difference to your income. As you begin to create momentum, you will want to build on that initial wave of success by continuing to implement your initial actions, or even bumping those actions up in intensity. Momentum is both short term and long term, but the key is to stay in action mode for as long as you can to see continued growth.
How to Maintain Momentum
If you are blogging, creating content for articles or videos, prospecting and recruiting – keep it up for a minimum of 30 days, even better 90 days, if you really want to see significant success. Even when it gets monotonous and boring, keep at it and don’t waiver because you haven’t seen immediate results. Set a goal, map out the daily action steps you need to get that goal accomplished, and stick to the game plan. Otherwise you’re just wasting your time and killing any potential momentum that was building in your network marketing business. Especially if you are starting blogging i highly recommend to blog daily for at least 90 days.
Let’s go over some reasons why it is crucial to write in your business blog everyday:
- You are adding fresh new content every day
- Search engine visibility – With the right SEO strategy there is a good possibility for your posts to start to rank in search engines quickly
- A daily blog post can give a business a much needed boost in branding power
- and many more

How to Kill Your Momentum Fast
The fastest way to kill your momentum is to take your eye off the prize before you’ve achieved the desired result. The problem with many of us is that if we don’t see success right away, we are too quick to move on to something else.
Don’t scrutinize your results every couple of days, or set unrealistic expectations when building your network marketing business. Success is a process, and it takes time. It is easy to compare yourself to the success of others, but keep in mind that everybody starts from a different place. Other people may have more or less resources, time, money, support, experience. So don’t get caught up in the results of others and let it cloud your game plan.
Being consistent for seven days and being upset that you don’t have 50 signups is unrealistic. Commit to your daily routine, set goals that you can realistically accomplish (always keeping in mind that you want to challenge yourself to exceed your goals), and actively prospect for at least 30 – 90 days before you change or adjust anything in your routine. If you rinse and repeat every month, you will be well on your way to exceeding even your expectations and goals in your network marketing business!
“Take action every day. It doesn’t have to be dramatic action, but every day, stick with it. Spend time on things that make you proud, that stretch and strengthen you.” -Phillip Humbert
