Has the daunting journey of starting an on line business have you in overwhelm?
Where does one begin to develop a reasonable orderly way of managing time, energy and family when managing all the aspects of a successful on line business?
I personally find the One Note from Microsoft invaluable in my arsenal of tools. It is like having a filing cabinet in notebooks on your computer.
It is simple to set up and manage. It automatically saves your documents as you in put them on to the page. This is very convenient when one is called away from the computer numerous times a day with a myriad of distractions around having a home based office.
Organize your notes
Like paper notebooks or three-ring binders, Microsoft Office OneNote 2010 lets you organize information in notebooks that contain pages and sections. You can add pages, sections, and additional notebooks where and when you need them, and you can just as easily rename, move, or delete them.
A typical OneNote notebook is made up of one or more notebook sections. Within each section are the individual pages and subpages on which you take notes. OneNote isn’t limited to any particular organizational style. You can organize your notes in any way you like, and if you change your mind, it’s easy to change the way your notes are organized.
What do you want to do?Work with pages and subpages
In OneNote, you can take notes anywhere on a page. Labeled page tabs alongside the page window identify each page, so that you can easily display the pages that you want. Page tabs also make it easy to add new pages anywhere in a notebook.
By adding subpages, you can create groups of related pages. Each group will have one primary page and as many subpages as you need. You can easily select the group as a unit to simplify page tasks (for example, to copy or move them, or send them in an e-mail message). Subpage titles can also help you organize your information.
- Create a new page or subpage
- Add or change a page title
- Move a page or subpage within a section
- Move a page or subpage to another section
- Copy and paste a hyperlink to the current page
- Rearrange notes on a page
Create a new page or subpage
Do one of the following:
- To create a new page, click the New Page button above the page tabs.
- To create a new subpage, click the New Page arrow and then click New Subpage.
Tip You can also create a new subpage by right-clicking a page tab and then clicking New Subpage on the shortcut menu.

For Example: I set up a binder for Business Women’s Network
i) I use the first page for all the important information I will use on a daily basis when working on this project. I keep my log in details, affiliate links and my copyright and disclaimers here for easy access.
ii) An action plan: eg: My weekly plan for blogging… post in 10 groups a day…. Sub pages with dates for what I have accomplished. Sub pages off that for connections and of interested comments on Facebook. There are so many applications to use to keep organization on the top shelf!
Have a day worth celebrating!
