Today I did a video about really digging down deep to know your why. We all grow up knowing that we will get jobs, earn money and live life the best we can. Nobody tells us how to enjoy life, that work shouldn’t be work, that we shouldn’t miss the important things in life.
Me and Axel
That’s my boy, Axel. He is part of my why. I am loving being home and getting to be with him instead of telling him to go lay back down under my desk because I have work to do and I’m too busy to pet him. Then I was doing my best in the evenings and on weekends to give him attention, but I had things to do at home and errands to run.
How many people do you know who are always saying they can’t wait for the weekend? I have a friend who says he loves his job, yet he’s always looking forward to the weekend or even the end of the work day. Why? Because that’s when we get to live our lives. That’s when we get to do what we want to do. Is that really how you want to live the rest of your life? It’s not how I am living my life any longer, and Axel loves the attention he is not getting.
