People have been asking me what do they need to do to be successful or more successful. I have done a couple of tips on YouTube to help, but I thought I would also a few tips here in my blog.
1. Mindset is crucial. I talked to a nice young man last night and when I asked how he was he said he was ok. My brother has a saying and although I don’t use it, I absolutely love it. When people ask him how he’s doing, he says I feel like I died and went to heaven. In other words, he is doing fantastic. I generally say fantastic or great or sometimes fabulous. When you say “I’m ok,” it sounds like something is wrong. Maybe you don’t feel like you’re being successful. If you feel that way, you won’t be successful. Words are things! You’re words go out into the universe and you get back what you send out there!
2. Learn from people who have been doing this longer than you have. When you find someone who is willing to help you, join there team. You don’t have to leave the opportunity you’re in, but it’s a kindness to join their team. That person will continue to work with you and help you succeed. They will continue to share their knowledge with you.
3. Learn from your efforts. Nothing is a failure if you learn from it. If you aren’t building your list, if you aren’t connecting with people, if you aren’t making the money you want, don’t look at it as a failure. DON’T QUIT! Look at what you are doing and ask your sponsor for help. Learn from it and move on to do something else until you find what works!
4. Keep trying! Keep believing in yourself! That’s where and how it all begins. Find your motivation, your why. Is not succeeding an option? If it is, if in your mind you’re thinking that if you aren’t successful you can always go get a job or a second job, you don’t have the right mindset. Not succeeding is not an option if you truly want to be successful.
