Why Do People Stay Still?

I went to Pet-A-Palooza today. I was volunteering for Canine Companions for Independence and sharing information with people who stopped by the booth. As the day went on, a woman came in and came right to me. It was a woman who I used to talk to and I let the friendship fade away because she was so negative.

The woman asked me how things were going and we talked about some things we used to have in common. As we talked, she told me that she had been looking for work for the last three years and still hasn’t found a job.  She asked me if I was still working for the State of California, so I told her that I now have my own business. I handed her a card and told her about Solavei. I offered to train her to make money online since she hasn’t been able to find a job. Then she started talking about how she thinks she’ll go back to school and become a lawyer. I explained that she would be working from home and could make as much as she wanted.

This conversation made me start thinking about why people talk about looking for job, complain about not finding a job and then turn down an opportunity. Why do people complain about their situation, but won’t do anything to change it.

I am not like that. I may be upset at the time, but I listen. I will at least say that I will think about it. And I do think about it because if I am not in the type of lifestyle I want, if I am not living how I want to live, why would I keep staying in the same situation? Obviously this woman wants to work. She lives fairly comfortably, but nobody works just for the heck of it. She wants to work because she wants more money. Yet her I am offering her an opportunity with Solavei, which doesn’t cost a thing outside of the monthly cell phone bill that everyone already has, and still she said no. If you’re already paying a cell phone bill and switching will either save you money or keep you at the same cost, why not put effort into building your own business? What do you have to lose? I am here to provide you with training about how to build your business. If you want to be like this lady and keep complaining about how you can’t find a job or how you don’t have enough money for a vacation or to go to dinner with your friends or how you’re doing ok but you’d like to be doing better, then by all means stop reading and stay in your current lifestyle. But if you’re ready to make a change, to have the life you want, to join forces with me and let me help you become self-employed, then join me at Solavei now and I will be right beside you and so excited to see you make your dreams come true!
